The Challenge

Bistro is a Parisian inspired boutique restaurant located in Newport Beach, California. Bistro was in need of a rebrand for the grand opening which included logo design, brand identity, brand system and marketing materials.

The Approach

The concept was to fuse modern design principals with the prestige of classic design styles, with this in mind the choice to take inspiration from the architecture and interior design and apply it to the rebrand evolved. In order to narrow the approach, we gathered imagery in order to rekindle and guide our concepts. This helped to determine how the consumer saw the brand and the language it was speaking to its customer base. After brand discovery and distilling the unique selling points, our next step was to outline design elements for developing brand identity which served as the foundation for the project moving forward.

The Result

The expectations of Bistros marketing campaign were wildly exceeded as social media presence grew steadily in the coming weeks. Engagement increased drastically through networking channels while the target demographic expanded due to a more cohesive approach toward advertising and exposure. The restaurant saw an increase in engagement of nearly 300% via social media.
